In preparing our students for their future after school, the College has been able to invite various guest speakers, information sessions, and attend the annual careers market in order for the boys to be well informed of the choices they have.

Greater Western Sydney Careers Market

Year 10 and 12 students, recently had the opportunity to attend the Greater Western Sydney Careers Market. This event specializes in providing valuable information for students exploring post school options. There were over 150 local and national exhibitors, including Universities, Colleges and TAFE, as well as many other career placement organisations. This provided a wide range of information on career pathways and tertiary education for our students.

Notre Dame University Student Information Session

Senior students had the wonderful opportunity to hear from university student advisors recently from Notre Dame University.

The year 12 students gained helpful insights into various university courses, scholarships, early entry requirements and many other things Notre Dame University had to offer.

Master Builders Association – Industry Speaker

Recently, students had the opportunity to participate in an industry talk from a guest speaker from Master Builders Association.

Many of the students gained helpful insights into various types of Apprenticeships in the Building and Construction Industry.

They were given knowledge about different career pathways as well as employment requirements when transitioning from school to the workplace.

These information sessions are part of a series of in school presentations this year from Universities, Colleges and Industry groups.

The Australian Catholic University and Western Sydney University will be visiting the College next month.
