Year 9 2019 – Information Evening Wednesday 22nd August 7-8.30pm (Br Warner Hall)

Parents and son to attend (full winter uniform).

A parent letter will be issued for this event at the beginning of Week 3 this term (also notified via the College App)
 

Semester 1 Academic Awards Assembly (Years 7-11)

Monday 6th August 9am

The Years 7 to 11 Academic Assembly will be a celebration for students in Years 7 to 11 for their academic performance and application.

Years 7 to 9 Academic assembly award categories;

Academic Award: a student who has received an ‘A’ grade for a subject in Semester 1;

Academic Commitment: a student who has received over 95% for their DSE in Semester 1 (Combined Terms 1 and 2);

Academic Improvement: a student who has shown the significant improvement in their DSE from Term 1 to Term 2;

Years 10 and 11 Academic assembly award categories;

First in Course Academic Award: a student who has come First in Course in Semester 1;

Academic Commitment: a student who has received over 95% for their DSE in Semester 1 (Combined Terms 1 and 2);

Academic Improvement: a student who has shown the significant improvement in their DSE from Term 1 to Term 2.
 

Students will be informed in Week 2 of Term 2 of their involvement as an award recipient for this assembly.  Unfortunately due to the entire student community attending this assembly, we are not in position to invite parents to this event due to the seating capacity and size constraints within the Br Warner Hall.

 

HSC Major Works Evening 6-8.30pm Treacy Centre July 31

All of the community is invited to attend our Major Works Evening in celebrating the Major Works of our Year 12 students in the following subjects:

  • Design and Technology
  • Drama
  • English Extension 2
  • History Extension
  • Industrial Technology – Timber
  • Music
  • Visual Art

 

Canvas Parent and Student Workshops – July 31

Workshops are again provided for Parents and their sons in better equipping you with the access to all you need in assisting your son’s learning and progress. Want to know every result, access his entire assessment calendar, access every task and resource associated to his learning? Canvas provides this and you already have a log in! Workshops are provided for experienced users and novices – book today (all our KLA Coordinators are attending to assist you).
