St Gregory’s College
On Thursday, 27th June the St.Dominic’s College First Grade side played their second round of NRL Schoolboy Cup against traditional rivals St.Gregory’s College from Campbelltown.
Before kick off we were fortunate enough to have Penrith Panthers Winger and St.Dominic’s Old Boy, Malakai Watene-Zelezniak (class of 2009) present the jerseys to the team. Malakai was very generous with his time and spoke about his experiences playing for St.Dominic’s and how it helped mould him into the player and person he is today.
On the field, the team unfortunately went down in a hard fought game to St.Greg’s. Our next game is against Holy Cross College, Ryde next Thursday at 1pm on Field One.
