On Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 10, Term 2, Year 7 participated in a “World of Maths” activity session. This organisation run a series of hands-on problem-solving tasks, which the boys have to try and solve in small groups. The activities are highly engaging and are excellent examples of the practical applications of mathematics in solving problems in everyday life. They are also lots of fun, and the boys and some of our teaching staff had a great time trying to solve these challenging puzzles.

The Year 7 group were actively involved throughout the session and learnt a lot about how to solve a challenging problem. There were many comments from the students stating how much fun they had throughout the session. Their behaviour was excellent, and they were great representatives of the College.

Thank you to Mr Meek for organising such a wonderful day.
