Congratulations Odin Brown and Thomas Fruhstuck

On Tuesday evening Odin Brown and Thomas Fruhstuck of Year 12, accompanied by their parents, braved the wild weather to Tyndale Christian School for the Schools Industry Partnership’s annual Industry Placement Awards presentation.

Both students partake in VET (Vocational Education and Training) as part of their HSC subjects, with Odin studying Hospitality and Thomas studying Construction. As part of their courses, they each must complete a minimum of 70 hours’ worth of work placement at a local business within their respective industry.

The awards evening celebrated local business’ who have demonstrated excellence in providing supportive and valuable placements to students, as well as the achievements of students undertaking the placements. Both Thomas and Odin were nominated for their consistent application throughout their courses, and commitment to their placements by demonstrating initiative, effective communication, teamwork, organisation and a strong work ethic. A huge congratulations to both students on their outstanding achievements.
