On Friday, elective Visual Arts students in years 9 and 10 participated in a Ceramics masterclass workshop under the teaching of Blue Mountains potter, Anthony Brink. Students learnt the challenging skill on wheel throwing to create functional ceramic objects. The high skill, concentration and coordination proved to be highly enjoyable with many of the boys finding the process very relaxing. Our students will continue to explore functional and sculptural ceramics through their studies, and we look forward to seeing their completed fired works.
