Literacy and Numeracy Week provides students, parents and our school community the opportunity to explore reading, writing and numeracy and get involved in a range of literacy and numeracy activities.

Within the Edmund Rice Learning Centre, staff and students are invited to complete a Literacy and Numeracy Quiz on Monday; Count the Jellybean Competition on Friday and Pick Round 17 in the NRL Challenge.

Congratulations to the following staff and students who were the winners in each of the activities offered:

Premier’s Reading Challenge

The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition but a challenge to each student to read, to read more and to read more widely.

The students involved read twenty books over a period of six months.
