THE LONGEST DAY FUND RAISER

The Longest Day is an endurance golf marathon designed to test your skill, strength and stamina. The challenge is to successfully complete your chosen number of holes from dawn to dusk and raise funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services.

‘The Longest Day’ will be held on 14th December and participants are sponsored to play golf for their choice of 36 holes (Long day), 54 holes (Longer day) or 72 holes (The Longest Day).

Our wonderful teaching staff, Mr Kilbourne, Mr Jansz, and Mr Lawson have committed to play the entire 72 holes which is estimated to take approximately 13 hours, after teeing off at 6am. Please click on each teacher’s name to be taken to their fundraising page.

GOOD LUCK BLAKE HODGES

St Dominic’s College would also like to help support Year 8 student, Blake Hodges who will also take part in ‘The Longest Day’.  Blake, who will also play the full 72 holes of golf, aims to raise funds to help in the fight to find a cure for cancer. Blake has set a target of $6,000 and has already raised well over $5,000.    Please click here if you would like to support Blake in his fundraising efforts.

St Dominic’s College are incredibly proud of your commitment and efforts to raise funds for this worthwhile cause.

We wish our teaching staff and Blake all the best in their upcoming Longest Day!
