Learning About Nuclear Technology from the Experts
On Monday, 22nd February, our Year 12 Investigating Science and Physics, along with Year 11 Chemistry students visited the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation.
This organisation is known as Australia’s largest public research organisation and a major international player in the field of nuclear medicine.
Our students were engaging with the industry to further their understanding about industrial and medical applications of Nuclear Technologies.
Our brave volunteers demonstrated how to use a Geiger counter to detect radiation from different radioactive samples.
