A spectacular day of blue skies, creativity and inspiration as our elective Visual Arts and Photography students explored a range of sites across Sydney.

Starting at the Armory Gallery, Homebush with Artexpress students investigated the work of exceptional HSC artworks from 2020. We then ventured into Circular Quay to commence an architecture and site-specific sculpture walk through Sydney CBD. Along the way students captured photographs exploring a range of angles and techniques.

The afternoon was spent at the Art Gallery of NSW looking at more Artexpress works and the modernist sculptures and kinetic works of Margel Hinder. We look forward to seeing how this experience is used as inspiration for students upcoming artworks.
