WATERFORD WEDNESDAY – STEAM PERSPECTIVE WORKSHOP
This week’s Year 7 Waterford Wednesday Workshops allowed students to practice listening and drawing skills.
Students created drawings using one point perspective strategies. As you can see, our boys were focussed, and created some wonderful drawings with a strong sense of depth. Our boys left the Warner Hall with smiles and a sense of achievement.
WATERFORD WEDNESDAY – SOCIAL JUSTICE OUTREACH PROGRAM
During Waterford Wednesday, staff and students from years 8, 9, 11 and 12 engaged in homeroom workshops to develop their knowledge about the Social Justice Outreach Program. The workshops focused on building awareness of the initiatives and causes that St. Dominic’s College participates in. In light of our College theme for 2021: Renew the Earth, we are working as a community to to deepen student compassion for the plight of those who are marginalised members of our society, and those who are suffering as a result of the abuse of our Earth’s resources.
