St Dominic’s welcomed over 100 Year 5 students from primary schools located around the Penrith Region today to participate in our annual College Discovery Day.

The day involved a series of STEAM related workshops, including Robotics, Bridge Building, Tower Challenge, Science Workshop and Ball Sports.

Working within teams, students were challenged to communicate, problem solve, build and most importantly, have fun with their peers.

Well done to all students who took part in Discovery Day. It was wonderful to see so many young engineers being inspired by Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

On behalf of St Dominic’s College, thank you to Mr Zammit, who organised Discovery Day, and our wonderful staff and students who supported our Year 5 guests.
