YEAR 7 BOOK PACKS

Year 7 students will receive a Book Pack on the first day of Term 1 2025. This will include everything required for his commencement at St Dominic’s College. Please click here to view Book Pack information.

YEAR 7 CAMP

Your son will be attending the St Dominic’s College Year 7 Camp at the Great Aussie Bush Camp, Sth Kincumber, between Monday, 17th – Wednesday, 19th February 2025.

JACARANDA DIGITAL TEXTBOOK BUNDLE

The Jacaranda Digital Bundle is a high-value package that provides access to 14 premium digital resources across eight core curriculum subjects (including Mathematics, Science, English, PDHPE, History and Geography). These digital textbooks are a compulsory part of each student’s learning equipment in Years 7 to 10.

The cost of this bundle is included in the College Fee Schedule. The login information will be provided when your son begins in 2025.

STUDENT HP LAPTOP – BYOD DEVICE

HP has worked with St Dominic’s College since 2016 on their BYOD Program. With the learnings, you are required to purchase your son’s device via the HP Sales Portal, this provides you with a device that is under warranty and insured and all serviced onsite at the College in accordance with HP Service Level Agreement. On 21st January 2025 an email will be sent to you with personalised login details for your son – this will include your son’s login email and initial password.

BYOD ONBOARDING

Before You Arrive:

To ensure your son is ready for his learning on the first day of school the College asks that you set up his device at home and ahead of time. You can find the instructions to onboard your device in the links below:

COMPASS

The Compass Parent Portal is an online portal that allows you to access up-to-date information about our College and your child’s progress.

The portal is accessible via the web and also via the Compass School Manager App (available for download via the App store on your device).

NSW SCHOOL VACCINATION PROGRAM 2025

Each year NSW Health works in partnership with schools to offer the vaccines recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) for adolescents as part of the school vaccination program.

Year 7 Vaccination Information Packs will be sent to families in early 2025.

APPLY FOR A SCHOOL TRAVEL PASS OR OPAL CARD

If your child lives more than 2.0 kilometres straight line distance or at least 2.9 kilometres walking distance from the College, they will require an Opal Card for public transport.

If your child already has a School Opal Card, you will need to update for the new school year before the end of 2024.

Travel Pass and Opal Card applications are now open for 2025. Please ensure you have completed your applications prior to the end of Term 4.
