OPENING DOORS TO FUTURE CAREER PATHWAYS

Recently, a number of St Dominic’s College students successfully completed the Youth Engagement Strategy (YES) Introduction to Plumbing Program at TAFE NSW Mt Druitt Campus.

During Term 3, five Year 10 students and one Year 11 student attended TAFE one day per week, gaining valuable hands-on experience, developing practical plumbing skills, and exploring career opportunities within the construction and trades industry.

St Dominic’s College is incredibly proud of the commitment, enthusiasm, and professionalism these students demonstrated throughout the Program.

Opportunities such as the YES Program play an important role in helping students explore future pathways, build industry knowledge, and make informed decisions about their careers.
