BEHIND THE SCENES AT WESTERN SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Yesterday, 18 students from Years 11 and 12 had the incredible opportunity to visit Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport for a guided terminal tour.
Students gained a firsthand look at one of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects, exploring the Airport Terminal and learning about the wide range of career opportunities that exist across Aviation, Construction, Engineering, Logistics, Technology, Security, Customer Service, and Airport Operations.
Experiences like this help students connect their studies to real-world industries and inspire them to think about the exciting pathways available right here in Western Sydney.
A huge thank you to the team at Western Sydney International Airport for hosting our students and providing such a valuable insight into the future of aviation and employment in our region.

LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Year 9 students were privileged to take part in an inspiring incursion with Paul Wade OAM, former Socceroos captain, football legend and passionate mental health advocate.
Paul shared powerful insights from his experiences on and off the field, encouraging students to develop a positive attitude, take initiative, embrace learning and adversity, and strive to be their best. His advice around self-management, resilience, dealing with stress, communication, teamwork, honesty and loyalty gave our students plenty to reflect on and apply in their everyday lives.
A wonderful opportunity for our Year 9 students to hear first-hand how the right mindset, enthusiasm, determination and willingness to learn can help you overcome challenges and reach your goals. Thank you, Paul, for sharing your experiences and inspiring our students to aim high!
