Celebrating Father Figures and Community at St Dominic’s
Today, our St Dominic’s College community came together for our annual Father’s Day Liturgy, celebrating the fathers, grandfathers, uncles and father figures who play such an important role in the lives of our students.
We were delighted to welcome an incredible turnout, with students sharing breakfast and special moments with the important father figures in their lives. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the bonds that connect our community across generations.
We also proudly supported Jersey Day, with students and parents wearing their favourite jerseys to shine a light on the importance of organ and tissue donation and the incredible difference it can make to the lives of others.
The morning continued with our Father’s Day Liturgy, including a special presentation recognising our students alongside their father figures.
We were also honoured to celebrate our multigenerational alumni families. Father-and-son alumni were presented with a Bronze Alumni Pin, while two special families, the Vella and McDonald Families, representing three generations of St Dominic’s alumni received a Gold Alumni Pin.
It was a truly meaningful celebration of our St Dominic’s community - honouring those who have shaped our past, celebrating those who are part of our present, and looking forward to the generations who will carry our community into the future.
A wonderful day of family, faith, tradition and community.
