Congratulations to our Years 7, 8 and 9 chess teams who competed at the MCS Chess tournament. The team celebrated many wins throughout the day however their competitors managed to win just a few more and out rank them of any overall winnings.
Our Year 9 team came to a close and equal third at the end after shuffling between first and fifth place for the entire day.
Meanwhile, the Year 7 and 8 teams too showed a great amount of determination, fighting their way as close to the top as possible.
Overall, it was a great day and the students were wonderful sportsmen and should be proud of their achievements.
