On Monday 26th November, Year 7 students took part in a two day Mathematics Incursion.
The Incursion was run by World of Maths and included 18 hands on, interactive activities designed to engage the students in problem solving from a mathematical perspective.
The boys we encouraged to think outside of the normal realms of mathematics and explore different paths in solving the problems.
Year 7 were exceptional in their attitude and participation. Many of the boys surprised themselves with how many activities they were able to solve and the majority admitting that they enjoyed the session as it benefited them greatly.
I would like to thank the staff who helped over the two days and look forward to making this an annual event.
