Dear Parents/Guardians,
Due to the increasing risk of bush fires around Camp Somerset, the College has made a decision to cancel Year 10 Camp next week.
In consultation with Camp Somerset over the past week, there has been an increasing concern for the area, including a southern containment line and back burning, which is scheduled over the weekend. As a result, there would be the potential for large amounts of smoke haze and the possibility of ash/embers in the area leading into next week.
