On Tuesday, 5 November through to Thursday, 7 November five Year 9 students competed in the F1 in Schools State Competition at Western Sydney University, Werrington.

The team ‘Dominus’ worked incredibly hard for three weeks with Brad, Snehin and Jamie working to re-design the Regionals car, whilst Navsirat and Marley worked on the accompanying portfolio’s and marketing strategies.

Despite many adversities, the team showcased what it meant to support one another during trying times to reach the finals. This was the team’s first entry into the competition, where they were up against schools who had a wealth of experience. Despite this, the ‘Dominus’ Team still managed to finish fourth.

The boys represented the College with true spirit and pride, taking home the Chair of Judges Recognition of Achievement Award, recognising their strong worth ethic, determination and drive, even under the immense amount of pressure which they faced.

Congratulations once again to the team, we look forward to seeing what next year brings.
