Dear Parents & Guardians,

In addition to the previously provided information to manage any potential health risk to the community regarding the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, the College has updated our protocols to include:

  1. Staff and students who have been in contact with any confirmed Novel Coronavirus cases must be isolated in their home for 14 days following exposure.

  1. Hubei Province
Any student or staff member who over the last 14 days has visited the province of Hubei in central China is excluded from school and should not return to school for a period of 14 days after leaving Hubei Province, as the Novel Coronavirus’ incubation period can be as long as two weeks.

  1. China and Hong Kong excluding the province of Hubei:
The NSW Departments of Health and Education still recommends that any student or staff member who was in China (apart from the province of Hubei), including Hong Kong over the past 14 days should not attend school for a period of 14 days after leaving China, as the coronavirus’ incubation period can be as long as two weeks.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide necessary updates from NSW Health.  In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact the school via email on info@stdominics.nsw.edu.au or via phone on 47311 933.

Your sincerely,

Mr Michael Ronchetti

College Principal
