Our Year 11 Geography class on Friday,

24th July, had the opportunity to engage in a field trip to the Blue Mountains to explore the impact of the 2019/2020 bushfires had upon the local environment. We visited many areas throughout the Blue Mountains including Hazelbrook, Woodford, Lawson, Mount Victoria, Bell, Lithgow and Blackheath. At each of these areas we explored the impact of the bushfires to identify future management strategies which could be implemented to control the bushfire threat and strategies to assist in the regeneration of the biophysical environment.
