Celebrating a week of academic excellence across all Year Groups, St Dominic’s College held its Years 8, 9 and 11 Semester 1 Academic Assembly on Wednesday, 5 August.
Again, due to physical distancing restrictions, the College held separate assemblies for each year groups.
It was an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the academic achievements of Years 8, 9 and 11 students for their Semester 1 performances. Now, more than ever, our students are to be commended on their outstanding results in such challenging and uncertain times.
YEAR 8 AWARD ASSEMBLY
The categories for Year 8 Awards are as follows:
- Academic Certificate – receiving an ‘A’ Grade
- Academic Commitment – receiving 95% or above for Diligence and Sustained Effort (DSE)
- Academic Improvement – improvement in DSE throughout Semester 1
- Principal’s Award – receiving an ‘A’ Grade in 5 subjects or more.
