Mrs Wendy McKnight Retires After 39 Years at St Dominic’s College

St Dominic’s College wishes Mrs Wendy McKnight all the very best in her retirement, after making such a significant contribution in her 39 years of service.

Wendy commenced at the College in July 1982, when St Dominic’s was in its 24th year of operations. At that time, St Dominic’s was a co-ed school and Mr Terry Keogh was the first lay person to take on the role of Acting Principal.

During her 39 years of working at the College, Wendy has seen and been a part of immense change. She has been instrumental in the integration and implementation of every student data base that the College has used. Wendy has not only served the many students of St Dominic’s, but she has shown immense care for their wellbeing, always going above and beyond to support them and their families.

Wendy is a remarkable person, her role in the College has made a huge difference to the school, especially when it comes to the continual improvement of the College’s administration and Support Staff Team.

Over the years Wendy has taken on various roles from the print room, front office to her final role as College Registrar, where she has been responsible for enrolling thousands of students.

From the entire St Dominic’s College Community – thank you Wendy! We will miss your valuable contributions, wonderful sense of humour and tireless effort to deliver excellent support to our staff, students, teachers and families at St Dominic’s.
