On Friday afternoon at 1pm the SES in Penrith put out an urgent call for assistance to fill sand bags in preparation for the weekend of rain. By 1.45pm we had a team of twelve Year 11 students who answered the call.

The boys worked amazingly, and were non-stop in their efforts to help support our local SES to prepare for the deluge of rain and flooding.

St Dominic’s College would like to thank Mr Jeff Kilbourne, Year 11 Pastoral Coordinator and his incredible group of Year 11  students who rose to the challenge  – we are incredibly proud of these young men!

Thank you for your dedication and efforts in helping during a time of need.
