On Thursday, 29th May, staff and Year 12 Prefects represented St Dominic’s College, attending a breakfast and fund-raising event at Penrith RSL for The Haven.
The Haven offers a safe place for women and their children escaping domestic violence and they aim to establish a sense of community, connection and safety to enhance well-being.
This event brought together government and leaders of Penrith to join in conversations about protecting vulnerable members of the local community.
St Dominic’s College proudly supports The Haven and work the organisation does in their shelter for families escaping domestic violence.
