St Patrick’s Day was a huge success at St Dom’s as the young men of Rice donned green to help raise much needed funds for the Cancer Council.

The day started with green pancakes to get the students into the mood, with songs from Ireland blasting in the Quad.

During recess and lunch, lime was the flavour of the day with green spiders being a massive hit with students and staff.

Mr Cummins had his pot of gold, and a guessing competition was held. In total, there were 144 chocolate gold coins to be found at the end of the rainbow.

Over $700 was raised throughout the day with all profits going to this year’s Penrith’s Relay for Life, which will be held in May.

Thank you to Mr Cummins and Rice House for organising the day and raising an impressive amount of money for the Cancer Council.
