Career Highlights
What have you done since graduating from St Dominic’s?

Completed secondary education (Leaving Certificate) at Penrith High School in 1965. Commenced training in accountancy in 1966 and joined the NSW Police Force in 1968.  That career spanned over 45 years and ended in 2013 when I retired in 2013.  During that career, I performed General Duties, Traffic, Criminal Investigation and Command roles at Campbelltown and Penrith Local Area Commands.  I was also a member of Rotary International  (Rotary Club of Penrith)  (1991-2019) where I was Board Member for some 23 years.

What do you do now?

I have been retired since 2013

Looking back, what are some of your best memories or experiences from St Dominic’s?

The high levels of student discipline and academic rigour.

How has your St Dominic’s experience impacted your life today?

It helped to develop self discipline and the formation of positive values which held me in good stead throughout my working career as a Police Officer. 

What piece of advice would you give current St Dominic’s students?

Appreciate the fact you are a St Dominic’s boy and exploit the various opportunities that present.  Work hard and the rewards will follow.

What is your lasting impression of St Dominic’s?

A great school.
