With Lockdown upon us, the emphasis for Social Justice has switched to Social Justice Online.
With many activities for students and families to complete mandatory Social Justice Hours. Our ERA for Change (Edmund Rice Action for Change) and our Young Vinnies groups joined together to promote the Fast For Justice Campaign:
St Dominic’s College students recently participated in the Fast For Justice Challenge.
Fifty students lived off rations that were similar to those that a Syrian refugee would be given in a Refugee Camp in Jordan.
In acting in solidarity with refugees, students learnt about the luxury of food and the hardships placed upon almost 48 million people worldwide.
St Dominic’s College is incredibly proud of our students for their commitment to making a difference.
