Over the past week, students in Year 7 have participated in extra ordinary pastoral workshops on respectful relationships. The workshops focused on creating a shared understanding of what actions are needed to be a good friend and create strong friendships, especially in moments of conflict. The groups explored a range of values such as; loyalty, deescalating conflict, honesty, inclusivity, respect and the golden rule” do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. Students created a “Top 10” set of rules for friendship and explored applying these in a range of circumstances.
