Old Boy, Liam Doolan, from the Graduating Class of 2016, paid a welcomed visit to St Dominic’s College today.
After graduating in 2016, Liam went on to have a successful college career at Lamar College Community followed by Tennessee Wesleyan.
Following his last year in college, Liam continued training in the United States and was recently signed by MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers.
Meeting with our Year 8 Cohort, Liam spoke about resilience and overcoming adversity. After many setbacks in his career, both through injury and geography, Liam continued to work hard to achieve his dream of playing in the American Baseball League.
Liam also had the opportunity to catch up with Mr Hall and Mr Green, who were also in the Graduating Class of 2016 and now part of our teaching staff.
We thank Liam for taking the time to come back to his old stomping ground and presenting the College with his Australian Jersey.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future!
Once a Dommies Boy, always a Dommies Boy!
