Dear Parents and Carers,
It is hard to believe we are already halfway through Term 3.
This term has been incredibly active and rewarding, with the College community coming together to celebrate and participate in a wide range of activities. From Literacy and Numeracy Week to exceptional sporting achievements, we can look back on the past three weeks with great pride.
In our next edition, I look forward to introducing our 2026 Prefects. Following the recent Senior Retreat, I have been truly inspired by the calibre of our 2026 Student Leaders and their vision for student representation in the year ahead.
On a personal note, I am excited to soon become an official member of the St Dominic’s College community at my upcoming Commissioning Mass, to be held on Thursday, 4 September. This special event will be led by Bishop Vincent and shared with our staff and students. To mark the occasion, we will also host a BBQ lunch for all students.
Please note that students are required to wear full Winter Uniform on this day, despite it being a Thursday Sport Day. Students should bring their sport uniform with them and will have the opportunity to change after lunch.
Normal classes and sport will continue as per a regular school day, and it is expected that all students attend to celebrate this significant occasion together.
I thank our amazing staff and parents for their support in my first few weeks and look forward to a busy and exciting remainder of Term 3.
Ms Natalie Devenish – College Principal
