Social Justice Online

Our Social Justice Outreach Program  has developed an online component on Canvas so students can achieve hours through courses, online activities and activities at home. This has kept our students safe while they are still contributing to the program. Three prominent activities are Pen Pals, Backyard Sleepout and the Backpack Challenge which are there for all students. This is especially relevant to Year 12 who will need to submit their Social Justice Records by Monday of Week 3. Thanks to our Social Justice Outreach Coordinator, Mrs B. Fogliani for creating Social Justice Online on Canvas.

Reaching out to the Isolated

Our Pen Pals Program has allowed us to communicate to the residents at Governor Phillip Manor (RSL Life Care). This program has been designed by their Recreation Officer Social Justice Outreach Coordinator, Mrs B. Fogliani.  Students email a letter to Mrs B. Fogliani who proof-reads it and forwards it to the Recreation officer. These letters are then distributed to residents. The details are on Social Justice Online. I would like to thank the students for the hundreds of letters they have written.
