Student Reports
Term 1 Interim Reports for Years 7 to 11 students have now been completed by the teaching staff and mailed home to parents during the school holiday period. Year 12 Half Yearly reports will be mailed home to Year 12 parents in Week 2 of Term 2.
The College undertook a significant review of their reporting structures in 2017 via teacher, parent and student feedback. In response to this review, changes have been made to our reporting structures for 2018. See our news article for more
Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent Teacher Interviews will be occurring on the following dates in Term 2:
- Monday 14th May – Year 7 to 10 Parent Teacher Day. Learn more
- Tuesday 22nd May – Year 11 and 12 Parent Teacher Evening
A Parent letter was sent home to Year 7 to 10 Term 1 Interim Reports informing all parents of the booking system for appointments to be made with teaching staff. The Year 11 and 12 Parent Teacher Interviews letter will be distributed out to parents in Week 2 of Term 2.
Canvas Student/Parent Support Workshops
Each term we provide hands on workshops for both parents and students in getting the most from our learning management system Canvas. We encourage you and your son to attend with laptops and phones so we can support your technical and educational needs.
These are scheduled during the Year 7-10 Parent and Teacher Day May 14 at 11am, 1.30pm and 5.15pm (C104 – no bookings required).
Naplan Testing
Year 7 and 9 Naplan Tests will be conducted in the College from Tuesday 15th May until Thursday 17th May. These tests will assess each student’s literacy and numeracy ability in a variety of domains. These tests are vitally important in providing the teachers and parents a better understanding of a student’s literacy and numeracy ability. These results will also allow the teaching staff to better cater towards the learning needs of each student. Learn more
