Parent, Student and Teacher Evenings

Thank you for attending and for your commitment in supporting your son. As you are aware these events are compulsory and if you were unable to attend please ensure your son’s coordinator has received a letter of explanation.

Our next scheduled meetings are Term 3 Week 7-8 Term 3, see Calendar for specific dates in relation to your son’s year group.

Academic Assembly – Semester 1 Higher School Certificate

On Friday May 18th we celebrated and recognised Year 12 Academic Excellence at our Academic Assembly. We were fortunate to hear from our previous College Captain Francis Tamer.

Assessment

Years 10-12: All courses have their assessment schedules published in each of your son’s Canvas courses to assist you in supporting your son. All weightings and weeks due are provided. You can track your son’s progress via “View Grades” on his Canvas dashboard.

Years 7-9: All courses have their assessment guidelines published in each of your son’s Canvas courses to assist you in supporting your son. Each student’s semester grade is determined by all contributions (classroom, bookwork, submissions and common tasks). You can track your son’s progress via “View Grades” on his Canvas dashboard, this ongoing mark is an accumulation of his results across all areas of his learning.

 

Canvas Updates

Parent Accounts – now provided

Each student’s parent (primary contact on enrolment) has been provided their own parent account associated to all of their son’s courses. This provides you will real time reporting in regards to your son’s progress. Read more.

Parent Support Workshops

Our support sessions conducted throughout both Parent, Student and Teacher Days were an overwhelming success so we have provided another this term June 5. As in Term 1 these will be offered at 3.15-4pm, 4.30-5.15pm and 7.15-8pm – bookings are essential. Read more and BOOK HERE.
