Project Warmth

Spare a thought for over 100 of our students who will be sleeping outside (at their homes) this weekend to raise money for Penrith Community Kitchen. The students have shown their compassion by volunteering for this worthy cause. The money raised will go to supply meals for the homeless who visit Penrith Community Kitchen for a meal and companionship.

We often talk about student leadership and it is pleasing that the majority of our volunteers have come from Years 7 and 8. This activity will meet their Social Justice Hours and they can complete the Social Justice Record in their Student Diary, present that to their Homeroom Teacher and move on to the blue Advanced Social Justice Booklet. When they complete this they will be receive a College Award.
