AIME Program Day 3

Our Indigenous students attended Western Sydney University for their third and final AIME program Day on Friday, 11th October. The day was filled with a range of activities designed to engage and develop students sense of self, goal setting and self-reflection. Students were able to network amongst other Indigenous students from neighbouring local schools. A big thank you to Sadini and Tre from AIME who arranged the day for us to attend. Our students particularly enjoyed the final session of the program, having the opportunity to participate in creative and game-based activities whilst sitting and listening to local Elder Uncle Wes pass on his knowledge and storytelling.

Just a reminder for all Indigenous students and parents, that AIME tutor squad continues after school each Wednesday from 3-4pm. This is a great opportunity for students to receive assistance with their homework, assessments and revision coming into final exams. The AIME tutor squads take place in classroom A206.
