Year 9 PASS (Physical Activity and Sports Studies) classes recently attended an onsite incursion.

The PASS students started the morning off by taking part in the Olympics Unleashed program and had a video conference with triple Olympian Aidan Roach. Aidan spoke about his life and career to date and the goals that he had set himself for the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.

For the rest of the day the boys took part in practical activities with the aim of participating in games and sports that they wouldn’t normally get the chance to take part in. They played Floorball (a version of indoor hockey which is hugely popular in Europe), Ultimate Frisbee, Golf and Wheelchair Basketball (The NSW Wheelchair Sports Roadshow). The boys thoroughly enjoyed all the sports and were very tired by the end of the day. The day was hugely popular with our students and we thank our Year 9 PASS teachers and external providers for a great day of activities.
