Literacy and Numeracy Week continues at St Dominic’s College with a fun Tetris Challenge held in the ERLC.

Tetris is simply the application of geometry with some underlying basic calculus principles.  The challenge of Tetris is to assimilate the pieces into spaces that match the shape of the pieces themselves. Geometry is used to determine whether a shape can fit into a certain space or not.

There was a nail biting finish for first place, but Logan Wilson held his position to hold his title as 2020 St Dominic’s College Tetris Champion, with Anthony Fava and Ayden Hoggard taking the silver and bronze.

Congratulations to all students who participated and volunteered their time.
