Waterford Wednesday is the keystone of the formation of our students in the areas of Pastoral Care, faith and academic success.
Year 7 and 11
Our Peer Support Program continued today with a wellness walk on the ovals. Students enjoyed the early morning sun while building on the foundations of connection established on their first day here at the College.
Year 8
Students commenced their unit on digital media usage, focusing on making healthy choices when engaging in digital activities. See parent information for more information and to continue the conversation at home.
Year 9
Students commenced their unit on balancing the use of their time. This week students evaluated how much screen time they invest and brainstormed ways to effectively use their time. See parent information for more information and to continue the conversation at home.
Year 10
Students commenced their unit on focus to review where their attention is captured. Students tried a number of mindfulness activities to practice giving their attention to just one thing at a time.
Year 12
Students were addressed by the College Principal on goal setting and succeeding in the HSC. Parents are encouraged to register for our workshop next week.
Many thanks to our Pastoral leaders and teams for their dedication and leadership during this significant time for our students.
