On Thursday 13th of September, 34 students joined Mr Kilbourne, Mr Samoluk and Mrs McCormick on the annual St Dominic’s College Ski Trip.

Staying “on-snow” for the first time meant that we were able to maximise the time spent on the mountain, as well as capture some magic views from our rooms each morning.

Students participated in lessons with a positive attitude which saw the skill level and ability of each student progress rapidly. Some great spring conditions meant that all of the terrain was open which limited crowds and enabled great tracks to be had.

Despite some students being struck down with illness on day three, the trip was memorable for all the right reasons. Only some minor bumps and bruises were received over the three days, well worth it for the memories that will be maintained for a lifetime.

Special thanks to the staff who attended, for giving up their time to allow such a wonderful experiences for our students.

Mr J. Kilbourne
