Last week, Year 10 student Luke Hanson represented New South Wales at the Under 15 Years Boys School Sport Australia Touch Football Championship held in Canberra.
Luke competed against Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria, ACT, and Tasmania.
New South Wales were undefeated at the tournament, winning the Grand Final 10-8 against Queensland. This was only the third time New South Wales had won and the first in seven years. Luke was coached by Nicholas Good a former student of St Dominic’s College and the current Australian Men’s Captain. Luke was also selected in the Australian merit side along with six of his New South Wales team mates.
