Dear Parents and Carers,

The term has started very well. As always there is plenty occurring. I had the privilege of attending the Urban Challenge with Year 8 during the week. Too often in the busyness of life we forget how lucky we are. Traveling around different parts of the Sydney CBD was tremendous to see the beautiful sites of Sydney whilst enjoying the company of the fine young men that we have in Year 8. The old fashion values they displayed, use of manners and standing for adults on public transport for example, is something that you expect yet often do not see in the real world, it makes you very proud to be a member of this fine community when young men display these values without being prompted.

The start of the semester is a great opportunity to take stock. To reflect on Terms 1 and 2 and think about what went well, what you were proud of and how to build on these successes in Terms 3 and 4. Looking through your report is a good way of identifying your strengths and intern seeing where you can improve. A new semester marks a fresh start. I wish all students the very best in their quest to continue to improve and work towards their potential best.

HSC Trial Exams

This week marks the start of the Trial HSC exams.  I would like to take a moment to wish them all the very best in reaching their potential best. This can be a stressful time for Year 12 students and their family. Year 12, I have the utmost faith in you. Ensure not only you are prepared through study but also you are physically looking after yourself to ensure you can perform to your personal best. We will be thinking and praying for you all during this time.

Arriving to School on Time

With the extra chill in the air, it appears that some students are finding it difficult to arrive to school on time. I appreciate that from time-to-time things happen and students might be late however far too often, there are a number of students arriving late for no apparent reason. I ask parents/carers for their assistance in getting their son’s to school on time.

COVID Update

Last week Mr Ronchetti sent information out to the community regarding College COVID protocols. Please take time to regularly check the College website for updates from NSW Health and Catholic Schools NSW.

Kind regards,
