St Dominic’s College gathered today for our annual White Ribbon Assembly, which focussed on a very clear message of engaging men and boys to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality and create new opportunities for men to build positive, healthy and respectful relationships.
We were fortunate to have a number of special guests, including mothers and carers as well as award winning journalist, David Leser, who spoke about issues relating to patriarchy, misogyny, gendered violence, gender equality and healthy masculinity.
Continued conversations and education is the key to ongoing change in our hope for a future where our community is free of violence against women and children.
