It is an important time in Year 10’s schooling as these young men prepare to commence their senior years at St Dominic’s College.
Over the last week, we have celebrated the end of their junior schooling with our Year 10 Commissioning Liturgy, followed by Transition Week.
Year 10 have used this time to cement their bond as a Cohort by participating in a number of activities, including the Urban Challenge, a visit to Luna Park and a number of specific workshops aimed at building resilience, Wellbeing and Team building, goal setting and understanding the difference between Growth and Fixed mindsets.
Students also participated in Elephant Ed workshops with a focus on positive relationships and consent.
It has been a busy few weeks for Year 10. As these young men conclude their year at St Dominic’s we look forward to welcoming them back in 2023 as our Year 11 Cohort ready and prepared for their senior years at the College.
