On the 21st of February 2023 the Year 10 and 11 elective Visual Arts classes went into the Art Gallery of NSW and the New Sydney Modern Gallery. We visited ART EXPRESS and viewed HSC student’s artworks that responded to the world we live in showing, world hunger, global warming, families and friends. We also investigated still life paintings in the permanent collection for our painting unit looking closely at the brushstrokes. The New Sydney Modern was excellent with large scale sculptural installations. Just before we returned to school, we saw the Korean Airforce Jets flying in formation this was a very cool experience.
